MinutesActas: Jarrod, our new VP, opened the meeting with the song, "Jesus Messiah". All present stood, saluted and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Rick Lewis spoke on Gideon from Judges 6:11. Jarrod spoke about our role as members of CBP to lead others to Christ through our businesses interactions.
Donna Spina welcomed all and welcomed back, Lois Dihle. Donna stated our meeting rules, dues, and referral information. Eileen Howe-Lang read our mission statement.
Main Session: Donna stated the recent changes to CBP for 2021 and beyond. Donna is still the president of our Washington chapter and adds the job of Southwestern PA Regional Director and Scott Hatcher is the North Regional CBP Director. Alex Giannetti is taking over for Pastor Doug Wilson as head of the CBP organization. Pastor Doug will remain as an assistant. Jarrod Bauer is now the chapter VP, taking over for Linda Thomas, whom we thank for her tenure.
CBP is also to be used as an evangelistic tool in bringing non-christians to Christ through our meetings, our individual business ethics, and our friendships. We will not compromise as an organization but all, Christians and non-christians are welcome to join our family. Non-christians will not be part of the leadership but are heartily welcomed to join. Anyone interested in becoming a Meeting Ambassador to make welcome new visitors to our meetings, contact Donna. Our chapter goal is for each of us to invite one new member a month.
Andrea Gardner, secretary, oversaw the 30 sec business presentations and Eileen Howe-Lang, treasurer oversaw the offering. Per Donna, our personal chapter offering/tithing goal is $500 for 2021.
Jarrod, vp, oversaw the Thank you, Testimonies and Referrals. John Polosky, Rick Lewis, Jarrod &, Kristina Brandle all participated. More "1 on l" meetings are encouraged.
Prayer Requests: Lois for heart problems caused by covid19 & Pastor James for a heart condition, Brad lost his job & has chest pain from stress, Carolyn, his wife, needs a job, Dottie and Dorothy need prayer, the Beaver family need prayer for their business, Brandie for her pregnancy. Rich requested prayer for all unspoken requests. Jarrod prayed for each and for our children to return to school. Praise for a good test report for Jonathan, a 5 yr old we have been praying for. Jarrod encouraged us all to pray in a positive manner for these and all prayers requests. And to remain positive and turn to and rest in God in the midst of these times we now live in!

MinutesActas: Jarrod Bauer opened the meeting with the song, "Another in the Fire" and said a few words on the theme of the song. Matt Wilson held the USA flag while we all spoke the Pledge of Allegiance.
Donna Spina, president, welcomed all including our visitors, Tammy S and Eric Mizer. She introduced the officers present. She read a devotion, "Anointed By God" based on 2 Corinthians.
Donna stated the changes for CBP, Alex Giannetti will take over for Pastor Doug Wilson. Donna will be the Regional Director for both the Washington and the Castle Shannon Chapters. Jarrod Bauer has accepted the Vice-President position for our Washington chapter.
Because of the Pennsylvania chapter’s consistency and attention to including worship in our chapter meetings, worship will now be included in all chapter meetings.
Eileen Howe-Lang, treasurer. read the Mission Statement. Andrea Gardner, secretary, oversaw the 30 sec business presentations.
Because our last chapter meeting at Christmas was cancelled due to another Covid19 lock down, we held our white elephant gift exchange.
For Thank You`s, Referrals and Testimonies, Tammy, Eric Mizer, Tom Tomasik, Donna Spina, John Polosky, Matt Wilson and Kristina Brandle all had thank yous and testimonies.
Announcements: Matt Wilson has a Zoom Dave Ramsey course starting on 1/13/21,
Jarrod Bauer prayed for each of the following prayer request: Megan for an auto-immune disorder, Kristina`s mother is ill, Father Al in Nigeria healing from a gunshot wound, Pastor James with Covid, Alva and Kevin with cancer, Jonathan for a cancer free report from his recent PET scan, 8 yr old Zander for endocrine issues including early puberty and diabetes, and 1 year old Sofia with a lung lump. Praise and thank you for Bill who is home from the hospital due to the prayers of many. And praise for family friendship, love and unity between a new d-i-l and m-i-l who have not had a chance to connect because of distance. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

MinutesActas: Donna Spina, president, welcomed all to Zoom as all restaurants are again closed. She introduced the officers, Linda Thomas, VP; Eileen Howe-Lang, Treasurer; and Andrea Gardner, Secretary.
Donna read Luke 1:11 - "Now an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the altar of incense".
Chapter News: an officers meeting is scheduled for
1/8/21 where goals for CBP 2021 will be discussed. She spoke with Alex Giannetti, our local director. For 2020, the offering has been down due to Covid19 restriction & the process CBP uses to give online. Alex mentioned that his word for the new year is "giving", not only in the offering which is greatly needed but also in referrals.
Donna shared the Monday Morning Referral Seed e-mail where our chapter & the Castle Shannon chapter were prominent. Matt Wilson held one of the top 3 spots along with Bruce Tenenbaum & Denise Dascola from Castle Shannon, Jarrod Bauer, Donna Spina, John Polosky & Andrea Gardner.

Linda Thomas, VP, oversaw Thank You`s, Referrals & Testimonies. Lynn Groomes & Donna Spina each thanked the other for referrals. Linda gave a brief outline on making an online referral & stated that non-members may make a referral online, however, it will take longer to process as only members with 70% attendance may receive credit & be featured on the Monday Morning Referral Seed e-mail. We welcome & encourage all visitors to become members.
Main Session & Family Fun Time, Donna slotted us twice into breakout rooms to share some Christmas fun & get to know each other more. We were to answer each of the following: What is your fondest memory of a past Christmas? AND What crazy thing do we not know about you?
Announcements: Matt Wilson stated that Christ Church at Grove Farm was holding their last food drive (35 lbs) to anyone in need from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Tuesday, Dec 22nd.
Matt and Sheril Wilson are teaching the Dave Ramsey Money Course online for 9 weeks starting 1/13/21 for $95.00 which includes a book. To sign up, please call Sheril at 412-370-0654.
Prayer Praise: Donna related how her church,
S. Canonsburg Church of Christ was able to serve many families & children in need with their "Gifts of Joy" program thanks to the many who contributed. She stated that God was definitely with them as they were not sure they had enough toys & funds to supply the need. At the last minute, two donors gave those needed funds (from their hearts not knowing the need). Donna and the church members were able to give abundantly to many families including 51 children.
Prayer Requests: Jarrod Bauer prayed for Roger, Kevin, Alva & Jonathan for cancer, Johnnie still in hospital for recovery from a liver transplant over a year ago, Ed for pneumonia, Cherie for Covid19, Mike for continuing pain since kidney cancer surgery, Karen & her father, Ken for salvation & depression.

Jarrod Bauer led us in singing "The Stand" by Hillsong and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Donna showed the video referred to her by Bruce Tenenbaum of the Castle Shannon Chapter, "We will trust in God and God alone" by Billy Graham from You Tube. She then read Habakkuk 1 from the Bible.
Both are worth reading and viewing as they relate to the events of today.
Richard Lewis showed the following video located at VID-20201203-WA50003,mp4 (5.6MB) called the "Seven Wonders of the World".
Donna stated our meeting rules, offering, attendance rules and showcased the Monday Morning Referral Seed e-mail which included Donna, Matt Wilson, Andrea Gardner, and Bruce Tenenbaum from the Castle Shannon chapter. She encouraged us to continue to give referrals which makes ourselves known among the nine chapters here in the tri-state area.

Under Testimonies, Referrals and Thank you`s, Lynn Groomes was thanked by many for her helping the people who were referred to her.
Matt Wilson encouraged our giving a year end donation to CBP as the offering is down chapter-wide because of the online giving rules related to Covid19.
Main Session: Donna encouraged us to continue booking one on ones with each other using the HANGS method which helps us to really get to know each other and, therefore, helps us to give referrals to our fellow members. We then participated in a Christmas puzzle activity with each other.
Matt Wilson stated there is another food giveaway at Christ Church at Grove Farm on 12/22 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. This food distribution has helped more than 1000 families in the area.
Prayer Requests: Jarrod Bauer prayed for Alex,, a nurse anesthetist student who is having tonsil surgery, Billy for kidney failure, a stroke and is on a ventilator. Karen`s father who is elderly and in poor health, Eileen for the after affects of a flu shot, Roger for leukemia, Mike who is recovering from kidney tumo surgery, Briana for a better relationship with a parent, and the Bauer family for grief from Aunt Helen`s death and Andrea for good news from an MRI. Praise for Maria whom we have been praying for - her surgery went well and her Neuropathy is gone.

MinutesActas: This morning`s meeting opened with Jarrod Bauer leading us all in singing "The Goodness of God" through the Bethel Music video. We all stood and saluted the flag and recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Jarrod prayed for our country and reminded us to trust reciting Isaiah 43:19: Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert." He stated that only God knows what is going on. only He knew the church would go digital. We must learn to trust in God. There is still good here and now.
Donna Spina, president, welcomed all and introduced the officers, meeting rules, giving guidelines and chapter news (tomorrow is the all-chapter Christmas meeting at 11:00am EST.
Tom Tomasik read our mission statement and who we are.
Donna mentioned that we & our sister chapter, Castle Shannon, had good representation in the Monday morning referral seed newsletter. To be featured in this newsletter, we are all encouraged to give and continue to give referrals to our fellow members. Referrals are credited to each of us when the person we refer to acknowledges the referral.
Under Testimonies, Thank yous and Referrals, Donna Spina, Andrea Gardner, John Polosky, Matt Wilson and Jarrod Bauer all thanked others for referrals and help. Tom Tomasik has a new service added to his business called Big Block Walls.

Main Session, Donna had us interview each other using Alex Giannetti`s HANGS method as practice for one on ones and when we speak with a prospect. She clarified the difference between a lead and a referral. Leads are contacts that, generally, are not expecting a call, but you have reason to believe they may actually be interested in a service because of your mutual connection. Referrals are true opportunities to possibly sell your product or service because your CBP family thought you would be able to specifically help them & they are expecting your call!
Announcements: Christ Church at Grove Farm at 249 Duff Road, Sewickley is passing out 35 lbs of food to all in need 12/8 & 12/22 beginning 8:30 AM in the church parking lot til 12:30 pm. First come first served. 1000 people were served on their first giveaway.
Prayer Requests: Holly & Heath, a married couple lost their jobs. Megan for a leaky heart valve. Maria`s brain surgery Dec. 4th. Jonathan, with a rare cancer is going to Cleveland Clinic for a pet scan Dec.18th. The Canon Mac school bus drivers have been been laid off & advised to get COBRA & are not sure they will receive unemployment.
Prayers are needed for Faith & her 5th grade grandson. Roger, Kevin, Alva, Johnnie, Mike, George & Jennifer need prayer for health concerns including cancer & liver disease. Jarrod prayed for each including Pres Trump, his family & our country.

MinutesActas: Donna Spina, president, opened the meeting with the song, Amazing Grace and the Pledge of Allegiance in which we all participated. She welcomed all including our guests, Tom Kesnick of Toms Bobcat Service and Mark Belding of Presbyterian Senior Care.
Donna presented Psalm 95:2 - "Let us come before him with thanksgiving music and song" and spoke on remembering to give thanks to God especially on Thanksgiving, this special day set aside for giving thanks to God for all his blessings and his love for us.
Donna then presented our meeting rules, attendance, membership information and who we are. Eileen Howe-Lang read our mission statement.
For Chapter News, Donna advised that donations to CBP are down as stated in the last Leadership meeting. Eileen Howe-Lang read the offering information informing all how to give online through the CBP website.
For Family Fun Time, Donna played a Matthew West video named "Gobble Gobble a must see at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqAjWUAlJ-0.
She then asked each of us to write the word THANKS vertically on a sheet of paper and to take 5 minutes to write something that each of us were thankful for. Afterwards, we all shared our words of thanks.

Donna Spina,president, welcomed all including our guests, Melissa Traverso and Tom Tomasik. She opened with Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" and spoke on how we each must trust in the Lord no matter what is going on in the world and in our lives, Donna stated our meeting rules, attendance, offering, and announced the opening of the Tennessee chapter of CBP and alerted us to the upcoming all chapter mixer scheduled for Dec 4th at 11am EST.
Donna highlighted the Monday Morning Referral Seed newsletter featuring Donna, Matt Wilson and Eileen Howe-Lang in the top three spots. And also featuring Rick Lewis, Jarrod Bauer, Ambit Bennett, and Andrea Gardner. This was a wonderful showing for our chapter.

For the Main Session, we partnered with each other to help each of us to define and refine "What a good referral would be" for each of us.
Prayer Requests: We have been praying for 4 yr. old Jonathan who is dealing with a rare cancerous tumor near his eye. Much prayer is needed as the doctors have concluded that he is forming multiple tumors and they need to decide on treatment.
Johnnie has been in the hospital for over a year after a liver transplant and his wife, Cheryl, for healing and perserverance. Kevin and Alva for cancer, Sean for gout, Laurie for breast cancer surgery tomorrow, Maria for upcoming major brain surgery. Barb and her husband who will be having spinal cord surgery. Please pray for Lance whose fever broke after a week with Covid 19, Josie and Frank and Josie`s family all with Covid 19. Prayer for wisdom and travel mercies for Jarrod, Beth and family for an upcoming trip to visit family for the holidays.
Prayer for Dana and Mike. Mike just received a pink slip and severance from his job. Prayer for continued healing and peace for Marilyn Felton after shoulder surgery. Beca for a safe delivery and relief from an umbilical hernia - baby due Dec. 20. Scarlet and Jordan, 9 and 5 for healing from a severe respiratory illness (not covid) and their grandmother, Sandi whose trip to visit them had to be cancelled. Pray for the students of Canon.Mac high school who must begin quarantining again and learning on-line through December.
