MinutesActas: Meeting opened with prayer followed by Who We Are and Mission Statement. Chapter News: Next week training with Beverly Miller, Financial Coach on Cash Flow 101 for Small Business. LaDawn led us through 30 second commercials, Inquiries, Testimonies and Thank You`s and Referrals. Main Session was Scripture in Business, led by Bryan. The group discussed 1 Chronicles 29:12, Romans 8:32, Proverbs 28:20, and Deuteronomy 12:7.
Announcements: Carl & Jane are working on their first placemat in New Castle at New Country Kitchen restaurant. See them for more info on advertising.
Laura is running a promotion - any orders that are placed through the end of the month will be put in a drawing to receive a free travel size chemical free, natural deodorant.
Bryan - Wayside Emmanuel Church will be hosting a Couples date/game night in February. More info to follow.
Don - Live music at The Confluence this Thursday night with the band, The Wait.

MinutesActas: Meeting opened with Devotional, Luke 9:61-62. Are you ready to get comfortable being uncomfortable following Jesus? Keep you hands on the plow and don`t look back, and opening prayer. Followed agenda with Who We Are and Mission Statement. Welcomed 3 visitors and reviewed Chapter News. No meetings for the next 2 weeks due to the holidays. Our Lunch Social that was scheduled for 12/29 at 12:00 pm at The Confluence has to be postponed due to new gathering guidelines put in place.
Attendees conducted 30 second business presentations.
Main Session: Training with John Craig of John Craig Bookkeeping and Tax Preperation. John shared a PP presentation with timely tax information for business owners entitled, "What Can I Write Off?"
John shared valuable information as we are preparing our tax documents as we end the year. John started his business in 2012 and has 400 tax clients and 25 bookkeeping clients. He also has his Series 6 License.
Some of the information shared on tax deductions included: auto/truck expense, travel & meals, technology needs, business use of a home office, etc. The group learned a lot and I`m sure will go back and evaluate their taxes for 2020! Announcements: Claudia - May Kay is hosting an event on Wednesday @ 8:00 pm EST for Happy Network Project, but all are welcome to join.
Brent - announced that he will be hosting an intro session for couples in January for Hiz and Herz. Date TBD, but will let us know.
Bryan - Wayside Emmanuel Church will be having a Christmas in Song service on Sunday 12/20 @ 10:00 am and the Christmas service will be held on 12/23 @ 6:00 pm.

Lunch Social on 12/29 at The Confluence. No Chapter meetings on 12/22 and 12/29 due to holidays. Welcomed visitor, Matthew West of Primerica, from the Washington CBP chapter. Attendees conducted 30 second business presentations followed by thank you`s, inquiries and testimonies.
Main Session: Scripture in Business led by Bryan. Discussed scriptures 1 Corinthians 11:27-28, Genesis 19:17 and Romans 15:13 and how we can apply these scriptures to our personal and business lives. We need to evaluate ourselves, don`t look back, and find hope, joy and peace through God and the Holy Spirit.
Claudia reviewed the offering instructions for CBP.
Announcements: Matt`s church, Christ Church at Grove Farm located at 749 Duff Rd, off the Mt Nebo exit, will have a food drive today and 12/22 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. Open to public, Drive through for free food at Farmer`s to Families Food Drive.
Del will have details on upcoming coaching about accountability and goal setting. More info to follow.
Claudia will be hosting a Men`s Shopping Event this evening at 6:30 pm EST through the Happy Neighborhood Project networking group.

Main Session: Council of Many - What is the vision for your business in 2021? Group discussed different ways to grow their business in 2021. For example, Dave and LaDawn mentioned sending out Thanksgiving and/or New Year`s cards to customers vs. Christmas cards to separate yourself from the crowd. Don discussed how he is staying in contact with foster families and keeping his employees motivated during this time of uncertainty. You need to keep your spirits up as a leader and inspire others. Dianne discussed how you need to keep growing and learning. She recently obtained her Home Staging Certifications as added services she can add to her business. Claudia said she is going to "connect" with more people vs. "selling" her products. LaDawn mentioned that above all, "Be who you are and who God intended you to be!" A great piece of advice from her coach, Del Gerard.
Announcements: Claudia mentioned that Hope Place currently has 6 women living there and is in need of gifts for them for Christmas.
Wayside Emmanuel Church is collecting toys for their annual toy drive. Toys and donations can be dropped off at the church or in one of the collections boxes located in area businesses.

We network to grow our business, help others and connect with people. (Proverbs 27:17).
Reasons why networking is essential:

- Makes you noticeable. Get involved.
Reviewed Pros & Cons and Tips of online networking.
Scheduling 1-on-1`s is key! Important to get to know the other person. Focus on educating and not selling.
Use social media to your benefit by posting videos, using Facebook Live, promoting events, etc.
Be a giver! We are reminded of this in Philippians 2?4-5.

MinutesActas: Meeting opened with Devotional and Scripture reading 1 Peter 3:13-17 and Matthew 5:16, "Gentle Lights", and opening prayer. Followed agenda with Chapter News, 30 second business presentations, Testimonies, Inquiries and Thank You`s, Referrals and Family Screen Time. Main Session was Member Interview, Laura Ditz of Love Always U R Awe Inspiring. Although, she announced that she is looking into changing the name of her business to reflect the message in Psalm 91:4. She will keep us posted!
As a nurse, Laura understands the importance of taking care of yourself which includes your mind, body, heart and soul. She specializes in Christ-centered Yoga and has completed 200 hrs of certification training. Christ-centered Yoga helps her draw closer to God and promotes emotional healing. Laura believes in being proactive vs. reactive when it comes to your health. She also offers natural options for healing with nutritional and skincare products. Laura remembers always having a desire to be a nurse, even when she was little. She has worked in nursing for 25-30 years and her heart is in Geriatrics.
She was raised in Clarion County on a pig farm! She now lives in Lawrence county and has 2 daughters (who have also entered into nursing) and a fiance. Her parents also live close by. Laura admits that she is actually an introvert, but loves to serve and help others.
Announcements: Claudia is hosting an Open House at her home on Sunday, 11/15, 1pm-4pm. Other vendors will be set up as well. Please wear a mask if you attend.
Dawn is hosting "Hope for Health" at the Confluence on Thursday, 11/12 @ 6:30 pm.
LaDawn announced that the North Pittsburgh Chamber is having a Holiday Market and is looking for vendors.
Laura reminded all of us that tomorrow is Veteran`s Day. Thank a veteran and keep them in your prayers.
Carl announced that the deadline for placemat ads needs to be in by Thursday.
Tina announced that Western & Southern is collecting new and gently used coats for kids.
Don announced that The Confluence is collecting new blankets in the month of November to be distributed in the community.
Bryan announced that our church is kicking off the annual Toy Drive if anyone would like to donate a toy or place a collection box in their business. The Way Baseball Team will be selling candy bars as a fundraiser and also looking for sponsors for the 2021 Media Guide. Christmas in Song service will be 12/20 at 10:00 am and Christmas Service will be 12/23 at 6:00 pm.
